Solar Benefits
Benefits of on grid solar System
- Zero Electricity Bills — though the solar power system is connected to the grid, the consumer has to pay only for the surplus electricity he consumes. The bill generated on a monthly basis determines whether the consumer has any payments to be made. However, at the same time if the consumer utilizes less electricity, the excess is fed back in the grid
- Easy maintenance — the on grid solar power system has the least number of parts along with simple installation. The elimination of batteries makes the maintenance quite easy
- Passive income generation — with connection to the grid, the consumer can charge for the surplus electricity he has generated. It not only eliminates your electricity bills but also avail the cost benefits for the excess electricity generated
- On-grid solar systems are most cost-effective and convenient to install. These are ideal systems for households as the cost charged can be recovered easily through the additional power transmitted to the grid

- The Solar System comprises the Sun and the planetary system that orbits it, either directly or indirectly. Of those objects that orbit the Sun directly, the largest eight are the planets, with the remainder being significantly smaller objects, such as dwarf planets and small Solar System bodies such as comets and asteroids. Of those that orbit the Sun indirectly, two are larger than the smallest planet.

Benefits Of Off-Grid Solar System
- The Solar Panels are used to converts the falling Sunlight into electrical energy by using photovoltaic effect. The required voltage for charging the battery is obtained by connecting modules in series called as ‘Solar String’ and such strings are connected in parallel through Array Junction Boxes called as ‘Solar Array’.
- The electrical energy thus generated is a direct current which is stored in the Battery bank by using a MPPT Charge Controller. The Off Grid solar inverter converts DC voltage into AC Voltage of 230V /50 HZ system which is fed to load. An Isolation transformer is used between load and inverter to protect inverter from surge load.
- Grid Charger is used to charge the battery from an alternative source like EB Power when the solar radiation is not available.

- Solar energy is an alternative for fossil fuels as it is non-polluting, clean, reliable and renewable source of energy. It does not pollute the air by releasing harmful gases like carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide or sulphur oxide. So, the risk of damage to the environment is reduced. Solar energy also does not require any fuel to produce electricity and thus avoids the problem of transportation of fuel or storage of radioactive waste.
- Solar cells generally doesn’t require much maintenance and run for a long time. More solar panels can be added from time to time when needed. Although, initial cost of solar panels is steep but there are practically zero recurring costs. Initial cost that is incurred once can be recovered in the long run that range from 10 years – 15 years. Apart from this, solar panels does not create any noise or release any toxic substances.
- Solar panels are easy to install and does not require any wires, cords or power sources. Unlike wind and geothermal power stations which require them to be tied with drilling machines, solar panels does not require them and can be installed on the rooftops which means no new space is needed and each home or business user can generate their own electricity. Moreover, they can be installed in distributed fashion which means no large scale installations are needed. With the advancement in the technology and increase in the production, the cost of solar panels have come down slightly. Areas where cost of electricity is high, payback times can be even lower.
